Always enjoyed this story and Joan shines in this movie along with William and Robert; very fine leading men.

This is one case where I like the remake better than the original! The one with Norma Shearer is good, but William Powell and Robert Montgomery put this one on top for sure!

I do also. There is not much before you got on in age that Joan did not make that I could not say I loved. Some of the more weirder ones like Strait Jacket I really did not care for but it did introduce Diane Baker and she is such a beautiful actress. I did not realize she had been around for a few years but by the time she did Marnie and Strait Jacket I think she had come into her ability to really act and make an impression.

Yes, Straight Jacket, Berserk, I Saw What You Did, and especially Trog (which I refused to put on her channel because it is embarrassing and makes me sad...) were not good. In The Best Of Everything (also with Diane Baker), Joan played a powerful executive and, although a small role, showed her star power!! Diane Baker had a fantastically long career - including a role as Gregory House's mom on House M.D. and several other TV appearances.
